Please find attached a bulletin from World Skate regarding an upcoming seminar that is open to all judges, coaches and skaters.  While the documentation talks about this being held in January, due to a conflict this is going to be rescheduled to a later, possibly Easter.  Further details to come.

Congratulations to our club members who were part of the New Zealand Oceania team that competed in Rotorua last week.  You have all put in a huge amount of work and have been fantastic representatives for the club and New Zealand. 

Victoria Edwards placed first, winning gold,  in Youth Figures and was named Oceania Champion.  This was the very first event of the competition

Katie Hawley placed third, winning bronze, in Cadet Figures

Mitsuko Nam placed third, winning bronze, in Junior Figures

Roger and Paula Boulcott placed second, winning silver, in Masters Couples Dance.

 

Congratulations also to Janine Price who put great performances on the floor, and Jessie Pitiroi who made her first Oceania appearance.

ART NEWS FLASH 22 September 2018 Age Clarification

A new League One schedule has been received, it has been changed to bring it into line with the new requirements..

 

LEAGUE ONE SCHEDULE

Attached are the new artistic requirements which bring us into alignment with World Skate.  For ease, grade names have both the World Skate names and our own as we go through this transition process.  Masters and Advanced Masters grade requirements will be finalised at a meeting at Oceanias.

Updates will be sent out via Art Newsflash and the document on the SkateNZ website will be updated accordingly.

This document can also be located on the club home page via the documents menu and then under the section called Board.
