information please ask.
CLUB CHAMPS: Sunday 12th December 2004. At this stage Artistic and
Precision will be at the rink with the Speed events at the Civic hall. The
entry form will shortly be on the notice board. There is no entry fee and all
Club skaters are encouraged to enter. For the skaters in Patch/Kiwi Speed
Classes more details of what is required will be given to your parents and
yourself in early November.
SPECIAL CUP AWARD: Congratulations Emma Patrick. Thanks to
Jacqui who donated this cup, which from now on will be presented to an Upper
Hutt skater at our Open Day. The scorers at this competition will decide who
will be presented with this cup
GENERAL MEETING: Saturday 11th December, 5:00 pm at the rink. This is mainly to
discuss who and what coaching will be available to all, including our Patch
Class, in 2005. Also for discussion will be a Strategy Plan for the future of
the Club on any matter that is raised. We would like all present and past
members/coaches to attend and have their thoughts for the coming years. If you
know of any past members who maybe interested in helping please let them know
of the meeting. If you cannot make the meeting please write your thoughts down
and pass them onto a Committee member
SCHOOL HOLIDAYS: Yes, they were a great success. THANKS to all who helped out. I’m sure they agree that their effort was worthwhile.
SATURDAY ROSTER: The roster for November and December has been posted on the notice board. Remember it’s your duty to change dates if you can’t do the day you have been rostered for. There will be extra copies at the rink plus being sent out by e-mail where possible
WORLDS: Our Club members and all of our supporters wish Laura McKenzie and Sarah-Jane Jones all the best at their respectively World Championships. Have a safe journey and we look forward to your return.
NATIONALS: The Team Manager for Nationals 2005 will be Fiona Patrick. Assisting Fiona will be Chris Hazelwood and Chris Picard. In December Fiona will be contacting all of the National skaters for their Auckland contact details, etc

BIRTHDAY CUP: Birthday cup award for the skater of the year. Nominations forms and rules will be place on board by 1st Dec. PLEASE start thinking about it

Please Note: These dates maybe subject to alteration.
RINK CLOSURE: The rink will be closed for floor maintenance from 2nd January 2005 till 16th January 2005. In this time we will be having the floor repainted where necessary so NO ONE can use the rinks during this time period at all. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience.
INLINE HOCKEY COACHING: The Rimutaka Inline Hockey Club will be using the rink on the following dates and times for a coaching camp 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. Monday 17th - Friday 21st January 2005 and Monday 24th - Friday 28th January 2005 plus Sunday the 23rd January 2005. Our members may use the rink at anytime outside the above dates and times.
PATCH CLASS: Last Patch Class for 2004 will be Tuesday 14th December.
This will be a fun night. Bring a plate for a light supper at the end. Soft drinks will be provided. PATCH CLASS
for 2005 will start on Tuesday 1st February, 5.30 pm.
REMINDERS:

All
of the building is a NO SMOKING zone. This must be enforced with the new smoking laws.
·
When
you are first at the rink give the floor a sweep. List on notice board to
record each time this is done.
·
Please
use lights only when necessary and ensure all lights, including the outside
light, are OFF when locking building up. We have
to watch the power bill with electricity rising.
