TREASURER: David Linney is doing the Treasurer’s job due to Carol Walford resigning. Thank you, Carol for your time and effort. We hope to see your family and yourself at the Club occasionally.

NEW MEMBERS: Welcome Emma Woodward, Connor McNicol, Lily-Jean Meyrick, and Ellen Imirie. We hope you enjoy your time with the Club and if you wish for any information on the Club please ask.

COACH of the MONTH – February: Congratulations to Samantha Raines

SKATER of the MONTH – February: Congratulations to Ellen Imirie

PATCH PASSES: Congratulations to Emma Woodward, Ellen Imirie, Tanja de Wilde on passing Patch 1.

AGM: Tuesday 6th July 2004. Starts at 6.30 pm, and will be at the rink.

CONGRATULATIONS: Sarah-Jane Jones on getting the Upper Hutt Coach of the Month award for March. Well done

THANK YOU: A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who sold Cadbury chocolate bars. In just three weeks we raised around $500 from this…not bad considering it doesn’t involve too many hours work for any one person. We are looking at selling maybe Cadbury Moro bars next term – we’ll keep you posted.

LAURIE HASTIE COMPETITION: May 29/30 at Pascal Street, Palmerston North. Entry forms on notice board. Cost is $20.00 for 1 event, $30.00 for 2 or more events. Entries close with our Club on Wednesday 5th May, 6.30 pm, at the rink.

HOCKEY: DAY and DATE ALTERATIONS: Instead of the Hockey Club having all day on the 1st Sunday of the month in May and July they will be having all day on Sunday 9th May and Sunday 13th June. This is because of our medal tests planned for the 2nd May and our Open Day in July.

HELP WANTED: Friday 30th April, about 10.00 pm. To clean the rink floor and get the rink ready for the League on Saturday 1st May.  Please see or let Bruce know if you can help. Help will be required on the day to man the shop and to assist on preparing the officials lunch, etc. See Chris H or Bruce if you can help

ROSTERS: Thank you to everyone who has already taken a turn on the public session roster. The roster for Saturday afternoon sessions in April and April school holiday sessions is on the rink notice board now. If you haven’t already, please check it to find out when you are on. We are endeavouring to have a team of three adults for each session. There will always be at least one experienced person on.    You’ll understand it is a logistical nightmare to try and contact everyone before putting names on the roster, so we have taken the liberty of putting members down for a day we hope will suit. If it doesn’t - please can you change with someone else (phone numbers are beside the name). If your name doesn’t appear yet, we will be putting you down for May, June or July. To assist with all bookings, especially during school hours and Saturday evenings that we get it would be appreciated that you let Mary-Anne, Chris H or Bruce know the times and days you may be able to help.

PRIVATE BOOKINGS: Maidstone Intermediate during the 2nd and 3rd terms have booked most Wednesdays from 1.30 – 2.30 pm. Home School have booked every 3rd Thursday during the 2nd term 1.30 – 3.30 pm. See notice board for actual dates/times and other bookings.
