Welcome to all

MERRY XMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR

Another year is near the end. For some it means a break from skating while for others it means continuing practicing with the National Championships early January in Nelson. Those Skaters/Officials/Supporters going to Nelson have a safe trip both ways. We look forward in seeing all of our members back at the rink for our Public Open Day

PUBLIC OPEN DAY: Saturday 31st January 2004, 11.00 am – 3.00 pm. The public will be invited to attend during these hours and have a go at skating for no charge. Demonstrations in Artistic/Speed/Precision are planned throughout this time. A chance to get new members, so please support. Afterwards a club get together for a barbeque, etc. at Maidstone Park or if wet at the rink. Mark this day on your calendar so you will not forget. All members/supporters welcome to come along

PATCH CLASS: for 2004 will start on Tuesday 3rd February, 5.30 pm.

RINK CLOSURE: The rink will be closed for floor maintenance from 3rd January 2004 till 25th January 2004. In this time we will be having the floor repainted where necessary so there is to be NO SKATING during this time period. We will also be repainting the figure circles off the main rink hopefully soon after Nationals. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience.

WORKING BEE(S): This will be on Saturday/Sunday 19/20 January 2004. Will be cleaning, painting the rink wall, etc., to get the building ready for 2004. If you wish to do some painting before this time see Bruce. A key will be available for those members without one so they can have access.
