To the Upper Hutt Roller Skating Club Website. We hope that you will find this site informative about the club and our sport.

 

NEWS

I have made changes to the Member's Info page <HERE> to reflect upcoming changes to the rink fees structure. I have also added an information sheet for new members <HERE>. I have also added the Club Constitution in readiness for the AGM <HERE>. The latest club newsletter is on a link on the left hand side of this page, or on the newsletters page.

 

 

Rink closed for public sessions until Saturday the 27th of January 2018

The Upper Hutt Roller Skating Rink will be closed for public sessions due to rink refurbishment taking place. We will be e-opening on Saturday the 27th of January 2018.

National Championship Competition 2016

National Champs was held at New Plymouth from the 11th to the 16th of July. Thanks very much to all the officials, judges, competitors and organisers. UHRSC results are <HERE>.

 

Laurie Hastie Competition 2016

Laurie Hastie was as usual held at Arena 5 in Palmerston North on the 7th and 8th of May. Thanks very much to all the officials, judges, competitors and organisers. UHRSC results are <HERE>.

 

Central Areas Championship Competition 2016

Areas this year was held at Arena 5 in Palmerston North on the 23rd, 24th and 25th of April. Thanks very much to all the officials, judges, competitors and organisers. UHRSC results are <HERE>.

 

 

Upper Hutt Open Day Competition 2016

This event was held on the 4th and 5th of March at our rink. Many thanks to the organisers, judges, officials and competitors for a wonderful event. Results are <HERE>. The Winner of the the Show time Cup Special Award was Abigail Evans for her Junior FreeDance performance.

 

Learn to Skate (Patch Class)

Learn to skate lessons are held each Tuesday night at 5.30pm at the rink in Railway Ave.

2015 National Championships

2015 Central Areas Championship

Congratulations to all UHRSC members who competed at the Central Areas Champs this weekend. Thanks to all the officials, organisers, judges and competitors for an excellent competition. 2015 Oceania Championships - Brisbane, Australia

Congratulations to all UHRSC members who competed in April near Brisbane Australia. We have a number of new Oceania champs within the club. It was sad that it was both Jordan Bougen and Teriann Randle's last skating competition. Results are <HERE>.

2014 Oceania Championship

This was held from the 21st of April to the 26th of April at the Rainbow Stadium in Palmerston North. New Zealand and UHRSC skaters featured heavily in the results, collecting the majority of the medals. There is an NZ Oceania Team Facebook page which has some photos from the event <HERE>. Thanks to all the competitors, officials, coaches and organisers for making this a fun, high quality event. Results of our very successful UHRSC skaters are <HERE> Congratulations to the new Oceania Champions, and all other skaters who participated.
